The Plan is applicable to non-Japanese citizens and their families while visiting or residing in Japan, regardless whether you are a tourist or resident.
The applicant's age must not be less than 18 years old nor more than 60 years old.

| Yes, as long as your previous premiums are paid and up-to-date, you can continue to renew until your 61st birthday. However, as long as you have been on the plan for at least a year, you can continue on the plan until your 66st birthday under the senior citizen plan. Both semiannual and annual premium payment plans are available. |
